The road
Dom started drawing at 4 with graphite pencils. Long before he knew what he wanted to do with his life, he knew he wanted to make things that lasted.
At 18 he left the UK and moved to Bogotá. He enrolled in a fine arts programme and dropped out almost as fast, choosing instead to learn tattooing the hard way.
That grounding shaped everything about how he works now. With Brexit looming, he moved back to Europe and joined a studio in South West Germany. Six years of slow, unglamorous progress followed. No shortcuts. Just repetition, correction, and refining his skill. In 2022, he settled in Auckland, New Zealand.

Principles that hold as true on canvas or in sculpture as they do on the body, and that show up in the way he refuses trends in favour of pieces built to still look right in twenty years.
His work sits closer to contemporary realism than photorealism, illustrative rather than exact, more fantasy than photograph, but never at the expense of form.
This is not tattooing copied from someone else’s designs or Pinterest. It is commissioned work, considered from the first sketch to the final line, for people who understand the difference.
